UV Lights: Fights Pollutants So You Don’t Have To

Ultraviolet lights are highly efficient at neutralizing many air-borne pollutants that can plague asthma or allergy sufferers.  Installing these air-purifying aids in your HVAC system will give a quick and substantial boost to your indoor air quality.

UV lights have very low levels of radiation that can alter the DNA of living things that pass through your air system, destroying them immediately.  This includes pollutants such as bacteria, fungi and viruses that can pose health hazards to you and your family.  The UV lights are completely harmless to you and your air but will improve the air’s quality.

Mold is a common threat to your indoor air quality because it can grow quickly and needs little to thrive.  Once it starts growing, it gets airborne and can threaten your health.  UV light makes it impossible for mold and other pollutants to continue to circulate in your home’s air.

UV lights are so efficient at preventing the spread of airborne threats that they are often implemented in the air systems of hospitals.  Fortunately, they are affordable and accessible enough to be enjoyed in commercial and residential spaces as well.

It is important to note that UV lights only target one specific kind of indoor air pollution, microorganisms.  They do not keep things like pollen and dander from circulating in your air.  However, when they’re paired with high-efficiency air filters, you can obtain the highest air quality possible.
